Through the lens of the camera, I am an arranger & composer of images. My "altered" photographs & photo montages are generated from my immersion in the natural world or any given moment of daily life that speaks to my inner eye. I use alternative techniques such as Polaroid transfer and computer technology applied in a creative way. I also rely on serendipity, synchronicity and ‘mistakes with a message.’
The series of images which began in fall 2004 with 'The Kaleidoscope of God' and which found expression in the form of a mandala, continues evolving in celebration of the nuances of each season. They remind us that our lives are ever many-faceted. As viewed through the 'Kaleidoscope of God,' we come to accept ourselves as spiritual beings, perfect in our imperfections.
