The artist:
From album covers and billboards to theater sets, murals, stained glass and sculpture, LeAnne has made her mark on the Mid South. After working 5 years at The Benson Company and 3 years at Directions Art Studio , LeAnne has spent 22 years as an artist for the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, Tennessee State Parks.
Ms. Johnson has a reputation for frequently lending her time and talent to community projects and art shows across Tennessee. Some favorites include designing the mold and painting for the 'Catfish Out of Water' for the Cumberland Greenways, designing and painting a guitar for 'Music in the Schools,' and painting an oil painting of a Bengal Tiger for the Mid South Art Show at Nashville's Parthenon.

The art: "Within these symbols lie many stories of the archetypes." LeAnne believes that if we can find ourselves within a Mythology, we can have a vision of our future, "I have always felt that a picture speaks a thousand words...so I teach through my art."
When LeAnne entitled her current show "Stalking the Vision" she explained, "This is my Spiritual Odyssey: revelations and events that I have experienced on my journey through life".
LeAnne believes we are truly walking in a thought created universe surrounded by reflections of ourselves. " Thanks for participating in the story of the growth of my soul."
