"I paint for the way it makes me feel. Painting does something for me that nothing else in life does. It's not just something I like to do, it's a fulfillment I need."
Pams fascination with art dates back to childhood; in the first grade she had a painting exhibited in the Detroit Museum of Art. Since then, on her own and in the classroom, she has continued to develop her natural gifts. She won a scholarship to the Memphis Academy of Art and has conducted intensive studies with acclaimed watercolor artist Stefan Kramar.
Success has accompanied her at every step along the path with local juried honors from the Parthenon, Cheekwood, and the Williamson County Arts Festival. More personal acknowledgements are found in the many private collections which proudly hang her commissioned pieces. She currently resides in Franklin, Tennessee and, in keeping with her goal to blend life with art, has expanded her creativity to include nurturing talents of others.
"My personal evolution has moved me over the years through many transitions, not just in subject matter, but technique and changes in style. You never know where you will land and what will become your next passion. I feel this constant evolution keeps one young at heart and mind because you are constantly growing and moving onward. There is always something new to achieve and learn. Life and art are intertwined, learn from the past, live now, and always dream onward"
