Photography has been a lifelong passion. After 30 years working in corporate America, I retired to pursue my passion and created Richard Collier Photography.

I have felt a connection with nature since I was a young man growing up in Florida. Today I live and photograph nature and people in Tennessee.

Nature photography has always brought a sense of peace and tranquility to my life. I experience excitement and a sense of wonder from all of God’s creations. I find beauty in the circle of life and it always evokes an emotional response, whether walking down a quiet path, through a flower garden, or watching whitetail bucks sparring in the morning dew, nature is life itself. I love the challenge of trying to capture that special moment or pastoral scene, to share with others so that they can experience the awesome beauty of nature through the eye of my camera.
