Sara B., 26, is a native of Nashville, Tennessee. She is a visual artist who makes many works using pen, watercolor and oil paint. She has displayed her works in Franklin at the Living Arts Gallery and at Inyo Gallery of Leiper's Fork. This is her first solo exhibition. Her fluid pen work depicts buildings and people that she has encountered in her living experience. She has been perceived as unique for her honest depictions of objects and the emotional impact that they have on herself and other people. Her paintings have received recent attention this summer in Williamson County. Smith has work in private collections in Oregon, Tennessee, Ohio, North Carolina and France. Many times the pen works have been water colored to further push them towards three dimensions. "I am not just trying to make a pretty picture. I want to grab you with my pen and challenge your expectations and thrill you with what it and I are capable of doing".
